Foreign Countries Like E.U Ban the Importation Of Nigerian Beans Recently.

This is coming when the Nigerian economy is witnessing the highest crash of the time due to the much anticipated change. Another period of food scarcity awaits Nigerians as the European countries banned the importation of Beans into their country due to what they called; the high content of insect and insecticide chemicals harmful to the body system.

They said that, Nigerian beans contain insects with some chemical elements harmful to the system so, they can't do with it for 3 years. This is to give the Nigeria Nation time to reverse their poor production of beans . As you can see, beans is one of the major crop being produced in Nigeria in larger quantity and exported overseas.
What do you think could happen to Nigerian farmers and the citizens who consume this food crop? Anyway, the farmers will automatically shift to other crops which still have exportable license to avoid losses thereby, creating scarcity of the product within the country. But, i think this is an opportunity for some farmers to go into the production of this crop for the local consumption because, no matter what, Nigerians will still eat beans. What have the Agricultural research Authorities done about this since? i guess my answer is as correct as yours They have done nothing!.
