144 Battalion, Asa in Ukwa ngwa West rescued 14 teenage and eight children from a motherless baby home. This fake motherless baby home is located at Umukpaeyi in Ngwa south. It was gathered that Mrs Charity who is the owner of the environment was at-large . Sources said that those girls are gathered in the motherless baby home which is not registered and some young men were called upon who go about impregnating those girls. And that the girls at last got paid at the cost of #20,000.00 depending on the gender of child you gave birth to. Baby Boy is sold at #150,000.00 while girls are at #80,000.00. Some of the hired men who impregnate those girls were also arrested. The police Army source said that, the girls will be handed over to the government agency in charge and the one arrested will be charged to court.

State have rescued 14 pregnant teenagers and eight children from a
motherless babies’ home at Umunkpeyi Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local
Government Area.
Also arrested by the soldiers were six young men, who claimed to be staff of the home, and two girls, aged 16 and 25.
