IKE EKWEREMADU AND HIS SELECTIVE GOVERNMENT IN ENUGU WEST._____Obinna Mbu.

Awgu as a local government headquarter is one of the oldest local government area in old Anambra state which Enugu was the capital as of then. Also, Awgu can be graded with the likes of old Aba and the Awgu  as well and so many other ones across the country. Awgu local government gave birth to so many local governments now, including aninri, ojiriver and some part of Nkanu land like the likes of Ituku Ozalla and so on. But, the question now is;
how does the local government look like before the emergence of Ike Ekweremmadu and how is it looking like now? really, the emergence of Ekweremmadu brought a little improvement in terms of road rehabilitation and construction. but the case still remains that; why should this be so little and why should it be a selective government. The "Aki na Ukwa Junction" you do hear is like the heart of Awgu town and so many other places surrounding Awgu local government. The people of Mgbowo are sole owners of that particular environment. But, if you take a very nice look at the road rehabilitations going on now, you will realize that the people of that particular area have been excluded in the hem of affairs. Why should it be so? Though i'm writing this report i can truly tell you that i'm not from Mgbowo rather from Mgbidi the closer town to Awgu, don't even know what becomes my people's faith as we dwell in no go mountains.
              Anyway, the whole thing is that the truth must be told. Check that town Mgbowo, i can boastfully tell you that they are among the most Educated in Enugu state, In fact, before Ekweremmadu was born they have had people more than his type of person. Yes! i must tell the truth even if i'm not from there.What will it take him to take up that wing of the major road leading to the local government headquarters known as Enugu road which passed through Aki na Ukwa Junction? I know it takes him nothing rather than discrimination since he went ahead to refer to the Mgbowo people that their time have gone. Which time have gone? time have gone with their own political rights or what? but, let us not go too deep with anger though we do not expect such a lampoon statement from him Ekweremmadu. Okey! may be that was the reason why Ike persuasively diverged the contesting governer of Enugu state Ifeany Ugwuanyi from making a tribute to the elder state man , the formal military governor of Imo state, Anthony Ogugua. Then, how will he feel if he is out of Government and a sitting young man now insist he Ike, will have to pay him visit instead of giving that respect to you Ike Ekweremmadu. That was just the secret of all these rancor, Ike Ekweremmadu is not ready to honor his elder state men. So, will that suppose to be a centralized problem? why should the people suffer for what does not concern them?
