Due to the bomb blast that occurred on tuesday at Old Kano Line Motorpark, which led to the death of 10 passengers and two suicide bombers, the security officials and the leaders of the motto park are now on a marathon talk on how to make sure that lives and properties are protected.
The parley, which took place at the Bompai Police Officers’ Mess included the Police Commissioner, Alhaji Ibrahim K Idris, the Brigade Commander, Nigeria Army, Brig-General Ohi Ejemai, Commandant, Nigeria Air Force, Air Commodore Ahigbe Iyamu, as well as the boss of the Directorate of State Security, Mr. Enteng Bassey. Some of the resolutions of the meeting include working towards the enforcement of the law against the operation of illegal motorparks in the state, enforcing the use of manifest by all transporters, uniforms for park workers, intensive security training for officials of the parks and vigilance by all and sundry.
