FORMER NIGERIAN OIL MINISTER ARRESTED IN LONDON.

One should ask the reason why all of them ran out of the country immediately Buhari won the election on the bid to tackle corrupt practices. I wonder what is chasing them from their mother land. Then, if someone is being chased from other people's home where will that person be hiding? as they have polluted their country home with corruption.

News coming to us said that, the former oil minister of Nigeria, Diezeani Alison-Maduekwe was arrested in London on Friday over the allegation of money laundering and looting of Nigeria treasury, after Britain's National Crime Agency said it had detained five people over alleged international corruption.

Meanwhile, the identity of the five arrested individuals were not disclosed but, Diezeani's family members confirmed her arrest. Recall that she became minister under the regime of Goodluck since 2010 until her sudden demise immediately Buhari won the election. The 59-year-old, a close ally of Jonathan whose administration was dogged by allegations of corruption, has faced accusations of graft in the past but denied wrong-doing.

She was granted bail but, her passport was seized and she was urged to remain in her London home pending next summoning.
