After the opposition party won the just concluded presidential election which saw Buhari as the winner. The then formal and civilian president Obasanjo who has had it hot with the democratic president Goodluck now declares his interest to help Buhari move the country. But, the question now remains; how many years will he, Obasanjo be giving opportunity over Nigeria before he could realize that he have failed? for more than 15 years in presidency both military and civilian he achieved barely nothing but acrimony and accusations. Now he wants to help again. We have to know that the motive of Nigerians exercising their voters power is not to jettison the nation as a family affairs again. so, Obasanjo should go and mind his family. Though, it is necessary to hear him speak, let us take a look at some of his statements to Buhari;
"I am sure there are men and women of goodwill, character and virtue...
that you can mobilise to join hands with you in the reform, repairs and
re-direction that will be imperative to put Nigeria back on fast lane,"
Obasanjo said in a letter to Buhari.
"With so much harm already done to many national institutions, including
the military, which proudly nurtured you and me, you will have a lot to
do on institution reform," he wrote.
