The Speaker, Eugene Odoh, of Enugu state house of assembly has commenced move to impeach the governor of Enugu state Sullivan Chime. This is coming barely 3 weeks to the end of his tenure in office. But, in a dramatic twist, another group of lawmakers loyal to Chime countered the impeachment move against him by “suspending” Odoh, and electing a new Speaker in his place.According to the Odoh-led lawmakers, the governor is responsible for gross misconduct, and this led to the resolution of impeachment, that is why at a sitting which held in the legislative chambers at 6.30am, Chime was served to be impeached.
