New Patriotic Party, OPPOSITION PARTY IN Ghana DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM NIGERIAN ELECTION

Yes! any thing done right is worthy of emulation. The opposition party in Ghana is now gathering its inspiration from the just concluded Nigerian election just to push-off the incumbent ruling party. The vice president of the opposition party,  Mahamudu Bawumia, made this known when he was declaring their recent plan as a party that needs to out-sit the immediate power come next year's elections. He said that;
“The Nigerian election is an inspiration for us,” Mahamudu Bawumia, vice presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, said in an interview on May 15 from his offices in Accra, the capital. “We have to learn from a party that can take out the incumbent.”
The NPP will focus its campaign for next year’s election on the economy’s poor performance under President John Dramani Mahama, said Bawumia, 51. Ghana is facing its biggest power cuts in a decade and has Africa’s worst-performing currency against the dollar this year. But, what remained the fact is that, Buhari has not yet accomplished what he used as a collateral with the people which gave him the winning. At least, Mahamudu Bawumia, could have remained calm to see  whether the reality of performance is the real logo of the APC or a strategy to collect the power as usual. Though, such an out-sitting of an incumbent government have never been witnessed since 1960. So, lets watch out and see what comes out of Buhari's up coming presidency.
