Based on the suit filed on the inability of the contesting presidential candidate from APC Mohammadu Buhari to submit his certificate which will make him eligible to contest the presidency, the Abuja federal high court is to
deliberate today whether Buhari is still qualified to contest as the president of Nigeria or not. Meanwhile, the court yesterday ruled that it would consolidate all pending applications in the suit and hear them together with the originating summons.
You have to remember that, a legal practitioner, Chukwunweike Okafor had on January 26 filed an application seeking to declare that Buhari lacked the educational qualification to stand for the presidential election, having failed to attach same to his form submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
