Nnewi Gas Plant Explosion, A Terrible disaster.

The people of Nnewi must have had their Xmas period in a pool of tears while majority are busy enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, a tragic
explosion from gas plant left many dead and many injured on the Xmass eve.
The casuality figure recorded hundreds but, the station opperator termed it at 10 dead and 2 injured.
   Anyway, what ever might be the figure, all that matters is that, people died and people were injured out of impatient and carelessness.
The explosion, according to an eyewitness, occurred when a gas truck was dis- charging its contents without waiting for the mandatory cooling time, while some customers were at the same time refilling their gas cylinders.
Look at how we Nigerians engage ourselves face to face with death which involves waiting for just a little time to carry out the same activity and be safe. Well, may they rest in peace and promise of quick recovery is what we preach for the injured.
